Diabetes is a common disease in United States and of course in most of the other countries also. Diabetic prevalence has increased rapidly in half of this century and will continue rising among U.S. population. So it is very much important to create awareness in each and every citizen about the conditions that lead to diabetes.

Diabetes is a metabolic disorder where in human body does not produce or properly uses insulin, a hormone that is required to convert sugar, starches, and other food into energy. Human body has to maintain the blood glucose level at a very narrow range, which is done with insulin and glucagon. There are three types of diabetes: Type1 diabetes, Type2 diabetes, Gestational diabetes.

Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes impede a person’s carefree life. When breakdown of glucose is stopped completely, body uses fat and protein for producing the energy. This results in excessive weight loss in a diabetic. Patients with diabetes are 4 times more likely to have coronary heart disease and stroke. In addition, Gestational diabetes is more dangerous for pregnant women and their fetus.

The control of diabetes highly depends on the patient; it is his/her responsibility to take care of diet, exercise and medication. Advances in diabetes research have led to better ways of controlling diabetes. One method is by taking insulin therapy and glucose testing that is, a regular check up of glucose levels. Better ways to manage mother and its fetus health during the gestational diabetes phase.

Prevention is better than cure. So it is our responsibility to see that we are not affected by diabetes, as diabetes in only controllable but not curable.

Diabetes? Lupus? MS? What’s causing all of these symptoms and pain? Started with a simple hairline fracture?
I hairline fractured my Left arm Radius about 3 weeks ago. At first I thought it was a sprain or bruise so I didn’t have it looked at immediately. My hand had been tingling and feeling numb and as the pain increased my fingers got colder and started turning blue, so I went to the dr. They confirmed it was a hairline fracture, it was affecting vascularity and had injured the radial nerve. I have developed wrist and finger “drop” (Radial Nerve Palsy) since the injury, but I have also been having a lot of other symptoms appear. I have peripheral neuropathy in my other extremities and I’ve been very sensitive to heat and cold. My hands will get ice cold and discolored for no reason. I’ve been having very dry, cracking, peeling and flaking skin, especially on my hands, feet and face. I don’t know if it’s fluid retention or just swelling but from the waist down there is excessive swelling and is painful in my feet and ankles. And over the last 3 days black spots have been popping up all over my chest, torso, back and arms with only a few on my face or legs. They look like black pimples under the surface or moles almost, they seem to have a “root” and only retract back into the skin when squeezed. What could be causing all of this?? I know nerve damage takes time to heal but this feels like more than just nerve damage. And i can’t find any other skin conditions that look like what I have. Any help, ideas, suggestions are very appreciated!

It doesn’t sound like MS, and I am not familiar enough with the symptoms of diabetes or lupus to give you a proper answer there, but you need to go for another doctor check-up right away and make sure you inform the doctor about all your new symptoms.

      All the best to you.

I have Lupus, diabetes, hypothyroidism. How can someone sit at a desk and decide whether you are disabled?
I also have a growth hormone imbalance caused by the sterroids I had to take for Lupus. All of the tissue between my joints is deteriorated, I can barely walk most days, I’m on anti-depressants,
all of my muscles hurt and because of my “education” they say
that I can hold down a full time job! What kind of country are we living in????!!!

      Hi JJ

I feel for your pain and work situation, but I think you would agree you need to take some action toward your health. The body is giving you all the signs to fix the unbalance in your life. You have to be grateful for what you have and not focus on what you dont have in life. What you think about is what you get in life. If you focus on paying off debt you get more debt. If you focus on prosperity then you’ll attract more money. likewise for health. The more you talk about your bad health you are feeding negative energy toward it.

I would like to give you a plan to help fix your health and here are some bullet points to start with.

      1. Drink a gallon of water a day (must flush out the toxins)
      2. Eat raw organic vegetables for 10 days
      3. do a colon and liver cleanse to help remove waste and filter the blood with new cells
      4. Find a stress release outlet

Click on my name and email me for more details.

      Best of health to you

Poor healing….what is causing this?! (NOT DIABETES)?
Even the smallest of cuts take forever to heal..and when they do they scar and turn purple in colour sometimes….so do my toes. I’m nauseous, dizzy, extremely fatigued and weak

I’ve been checked for Lupus, Diabetes, Thyroid issues….

    WHAT IS CAUSING THIS?!

    • IDK says:

sry about your condition but i’d like to say that the info u provided is very limited…..where are the lab investigations? firstly, a blood count will be needed and according to the results other investigations will be done to find out the diagnosis

What the difference between Sjogrens Syndrome and Lupus which is worse?
Need to know whether I should worry about if diagnosed with either or. Someone told me it’s like living with diabetes online I read one of them can cause Cancer. Can this be true?
Thank You for your answers they both helped out alot.

    • writenimage says:

My aunt actually has both syndroms. The Lupus seems to be the one that causes the most hassle. They are both auto-immune so can both effect the boddy in similar ways. I think either can be the worse one depending on treatment and serverity of the conditions.

  6. punkie319 says:

Would Lupus affect the healing process of a cut between my toe that will not heal?
People have suggested that diabetes could be the cause of cut that won’t heal between my toe. I’ve had the cut for 6 mo. or more. I don’t think I am a diabetic but I do have lupus. I do not have the money to go see a doctor right now. Is there anything else I can do to help heal the cut besides neosporin and bandaging?

    • MishMash says:

I’d say you have tinea – fungus of the toes.

Wash your foot. Dry well. Wipe between all toes with a fresh swab stick dipped in pink methylated spirits which is available from pharmacies. Then apply a cream for toe tinea also available from pharmacies.

Leave your feet open to the air from time to time – no bandaging.

Do you think I could have a poor circulation problem?
    I have developed “Raynaud’s phenomenon”
But only my toes turn purple…not my fingers. And they don’t go from white to purple to red….just purple. My toes also “fall asleep” easily and tingle alot.

My wounds dont heal well anymore. I get small cuts from my puppy and they take FOREVER to heal.. and if they do, it almost always scars regardless of size or depth.

I also have an irregular heart beat, shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, mild pain behind eyes, and dizziness…..but I’m not sure if they are all connected….and I’m not sure if poor circulation would cause these other symptoms…

Anyways, I’ve been tested for almost everything….Lupus, Diabetes, Thyroid issues, Adrenal issues and the doctors can’t find out whats causing all of this.

My doctors also never once mentioned poor circulation…they claim Raynaud’s is common and not usually caused by a disease..

Why havent they mentioned circulation problems? Is that not considered a health issue, can they even fix it? And would poor circulation cause the other symptoms I mentioned?

And is poor circulation caused by the heart? I’ve had a stress test and ultrasound done and both were normal

    • Linda R says:

Raynaud’s occurs when the nerves that control the dilation or expansion of small blood vessels “misfire” and tell those blood vessels to shut down. This can happen when the extremities are exposed to cool things or under stress.

Poor circulation can have a number of causes: Raynaud’s, blocked blood vessels as in peripheral artery disease, low blood pressure and heart problems.

You need to continue to insist that the doctor get to the bottom of your problems. If your current doctor won’t then get a new doctor. Keep copies of all your lab work. You have a right to them under the law. This is helpful when you are seeking a second opinion.

With raynauds, they just go white. I get it in my hands. and one foot. I got prescribed some blood thinners as I have low blood pressure anyway.

Have you tried eating healthy food like fruit and vegetables which contain natural vitamins that your body needs to stay healthy, and drinking plenty of water.

Sounds like you are a hypochondriac. Stop worrying about what is wrong and just eat well, drink lots and learn to enjoy yourself. Maybe exercise. It sorts out all these niggly aches and pains.
Nobody tells you that when you hit 20 these aches and pains start to happen.

Just live with it, rest enough.

Not MS, not Lupus, then what?
I have been seeing a neurologist due to extreme muscle and joint pain, i stumble a lot, drop things, forgetfullness. I do have fibromyalgia and have for years. I also have peripheral neuropathy ( no diabetes) I have had tests to rule out Lupus and MS (which does run in the family) Lupus is neg, not enough points or evidence for MS, ( no lesions on the brain) but does not mean i do not have it. So now he wants to do more aggressive and specific testing. What I want are some suggestions of what it might be from those who experiene this, so that i can read up on it so that I can ask questions and not look like a dope when we discuss different possible causes and treatments.

My wife has Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and chronic pain syndrome. She has all the symptoms you described. Fibromyalgia has the same symptoms as MS and lupus. That’s why it’s so hard to diagnose. There’s also RSD- reflex sympathetic disorder that is similar as far as symptoms go. I know it’s frustrating, she sees different Dr.s all the time and no one can really offer much help other than a Rheumatologist or a Pain Mgmt Dr. Good luck. Don’t give up.

Does Dehydration Cause Neurological and Autoimmune Disorders.?
I would love to hear your thoughts and comments on the following article?

“Dehydration Also Causes Neurological and Autoimmune Disorders.
Persistent dehydration inside some vital cells, in its extreme stages, will result in a number of disruptive conditions that have been labeled as different diseases – depending on the specialty of the “medical specialist” who first labels the problem. The initial stages of these health problems will begin by the loss of some of the most essential amino acids that get used up as detoxifying agents – antioxidants, when the person is not producing enough urine to get rid of the toxic waste of metabolism.

Since brain activity desperately depends on the presence of some of these amino acids, their depletive overuse will result in an inadequate presence of certain neurotransmitters – such as serotonin, tryptamine, melatonin and indolamine that are made from the amino acid tryptophan; or adrenaline, noradrenalin and dopamine that are made from the amino acid tyrosine.

As a result of an imbalance in the neurotransmitter composition of the brain, and based on proportionate depletion of a number of primary elements, a wide range of health problems have been recognized by the medical profession. Instead of recognizing these conditions as “deficiency disorders, they have been labeled as “diseases of unknown cause.” In short, when dehydration produces health problems, instead of correcting the dehydration and its metabolic complications, people are given toxic medications.

These conditions have received various labels. Most frequently used labels are: depression, impotence, anxiety neurosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, attention deficit disorder in children. At more serious pathological stages, they are labeled as autoimmune diseases – such as insulin-dependent or juvenile diabetes, lupus, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease), Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer disease, and even AIDS.

What can I do, my wife is ill: I have a mental health issue & stress issues caused by a disfunctional family?
I have 3 of a family and an alcoholic wife who has Lupus, Diabetes, Epilepsy and may also have other problems. The 3 adult members of my family take advantage at every turn and I have been forced to get a motability 7 seat car. There are only 2 of us living in the 5 apt house with a mortgage paid with my wife’s wages and DLA for both of us. I have also got a Tax Credit and Carer’s Allowance. So we have about enough coming in. Problem is we have a daughter and 3 granddaughters who take advantage by not paying for any costs they incur especially with petrol prices being so high and Xmas looming. Paper is cheap by the sheet but when you count up 9 years of prolific art & writing from a highly intelligent granddaughter and 2 younger siblings you might just realise where I am coming from. The other daughter has problems that she cannot deal with and a son who we cannot visit because of wife’s work commitments. Stress is only the start of it!

I want a child soo bad and I don’t know what the problem is!
What could be causing all this…

If you are short of progesterone during the first trimester, you are more than likely to lose the baby. I lost a baby at 7 weeks, and it was because of the lack of progesterone. Doctors won’t choose this as the first investigation, because they do not make as much money off of natural hormones, they will get all the other tests done first, as that is where the money is. I know that sounds cynical, but its true.
After the first trimester, the placenta takes over the production of progesterone, so that your body does not have to create more.
Please look into this, as this was the same with me. I am now on my first two week wait, after 9 years of trying and one miscarriage.
Good luck darling, I am sending you a big warm cuddle.

A good percentage of people who get Lyme disease can’t recall ever seeing a tick or getting bitten. and many people with Lyme never develope the EM rash which is characteristic of Lyme. It doesn’t matter that your test was negative. I had 2 negative tests before my Lyme literate doctor sent a specimen to a lab that specializes in Lyme testing, and that one came back positive. The testing you have had tells me that you are having symptoms that indicate involvement of your brain, heart, intestinal tract and spine. All of these have the nervous system in common. Lyme loves nerve tissue. Lyme causes everything from anxiety attacks to sinus congestion. I’m only trying to impress upon you the seriousness of your situation. People and doctors place way too much faith in lab test results. Your lab test isn’t that sensitive. It fails to detect about 50% of Lyme cases. You could just flip a coin at that rate. I’m trying to give you the benefit of my experience. If you want to wait till you have one foot in a nursing home, like I did, go ahead and blow me off. Just don’t expect this to go away all by itself. Sooner or later you have the responsibility of taking action. No one will fix this for you.

Would a normal cbc rule out type 2 diabetes? Symptoms similar to Fibro/rheumatoid issues?
I am a 33 year old female, and I have had progressive symptoms ever since a miscarriage a few months ago. The symptoms started as muscle pain and headaches, progressed to mirgraines, hunger w/ weight loss, swelling of right wrist/hand, blurred vision, left eyelid twitch, tingling/buzzing feeling in legs & feet (has gotten better), dizziness/”out of it” feeling, pain on side of throat (ultrasound showed a “mildly enlarged” thyroid, but Endocronologist said its not “large enough” to be causing issues, feeling of someone choking me/lump in throat, and now a slight tremor (gets worse when using hands/arms, and better at rest). Got a CBC and other tests (Lyme’s, Lupus), all normal- was sent to a rheumatolgist. I am waiting for a batch of test results, including rheumatoid factor, mercury poisoning, celiac disease, vitamin d deficiency, etc… She is telling me a lot of this sound neurological, so that is my next move- and I am terrified! The tremor scares me to death, thinking of Parkinsons/MS- but I am reading that tremors w/ those diseases usually are worse at rest, and get better w/ movement- mine are the opposite. Anyway, I just remembered that my grandfather has type 2 diabetes, and I’m wondering if that is hereditary, and if that would be ruled out by the standard CBC and other tests that were already done.
If anyone knows, I would greatly appreciate the help. I would also welcome any input regarding what might be going on w/ me. They are suspecting Fibromyalgia- but would that cause blurred vision & tremor? Thanks in advance for any help, as I am waiting for my results & my next doctor’s appointment.

Numbness in fingers, stiffness in hands, difficulty walking, ripping feeling in hands. This has been going on for a month. I know what it is NOT: reflex sympathetic dystrophy, diabetes, lupus, lyme disease, anxiety, depression, the doctors do not think it is autoimmune, inflamatory,or something wrong with the nervous system. the rheumatologist believes told me it is due to stress and basically without actually saying the words, told me i was going crazy. i know my body and i do not believe it is RSD. please if these symptoms sound familiar and aren’t i mention please tell me. I just turn 17, and i have miss a month of school. this is very diabilating. I just want my normal life back. I am open to any ideas. thank you very much.

    • RSDmom says:

My 13 year old got RSD last year and her symptoms are extreme pain, burning, and loss of use in the hands. The loss of use came from her protecting the affected areas that hurt. One year later and we are still fighting to regain a normal life for her. She is on daily medication the helps her tolerate the constant pain. She was missing so much school, that we were forced to homeschool. Now she hurts, AND has no social life. The RSD pain triggers migraines, it’s a vicious cycle. You are not crazy. Find another doctor. We found the best at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

    Designer kids?
How do you feel about genetically engineered babies?
Do you know that in addition to scientists being able to withdraw a gene which may cause diabetes, lupus, etc., from an embryo, they may be able to withdraw the “gay” gene from an embryo also since it’s believed we are born this way?
If this is so, what do you think about the above question and how it would affect or potentially eradicate gays from the future, leaving us, just a part of history?

    • Kith D says:

Well actually the idea of withdrawing the gene to prevent homosexuality would assume they could actually find a singe gene, which I doubt we ever will.

What the real “cure” seems to be heading towards is various hormonal baths while the baby is in the womb, followed by some very careful upbringing. Currently this scares the living out of me, not because they are going to do away with the dreaded homosexual, but because we really don’t know enough about the effects of strong hormone cocktails in-vitro. We might literally end up creating the first generation of Eloi or worse Morlocks and we’d not know for 20+ years while these “children” grew up. For those 20+ years we’d never stop the process, then we’d probably need another 10 before we got around to officially banning it, then another 20 to get rid of the last back ally clinic, it could easily take a hundred years to stop, imagine a hundred years of troubled adolescents all because of the fear they may be gay .

I don’t think humans have proved wise enough to mess with such things, especially in wide use.

Need help for my mom. Understanding diabetes!!?
Okay so my mom has been going through a lot of issues she was diagnosed with lupus about 2 years ago and ever since she has been having many problems which results in her taking more medication to contain one disease but then the medicine that is supposed to help one disease causes another so now she has been diagnosed with sugar diabetes and she is confused and refusing to take insulin because she doesn’t want needles around her children so she is trying to study her diet so she won’t have to take the insulin
so i have a few questions and it will be so much help
what is too high or too low for your blood sugar level?
what is a normal blood sugar level for a diabetic?
can you be hypoglycemic and hyperglycemic?
are you supposed to test your blood after and before every meal?
what foods are good for her to eat?
are there any desserts that won’t effect her?
these are all the questions i have but any and all the information will help i am really interested in finding out as much as possible to help her keep on track

is aspartame more dangerous than we are told?
Aspartame has brought more complaints to the FDA than any other additive-ever. It’s responsible for a full 75 percent of the complaints the agency gets. From 10,000 consumer complaints, the FDA compiled a list of 92 symptoms, including death.

Not only has aspartame been proven to make you fatter, it’s been proven to cause some pretty serious diseases, not the least of which are cancer and neurological diseases.
Sure, the marketing geniuses would have you think it’s health food, but the truth paints a very different picture. Over the years, various reports have implicated aspartame in headaches, memory loss, seizures, vision loss, coma, and cancer. It also appears to worsen or mimic the symptoms of such conditions as fibromyalgia, MS, lupus, ADD, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, chronic fatigue, and depression.
In terms of toxicity to the body diet soda is much more dangerous than cannabis. (In fact THC or any form of marijuana when ingested is non-toxic to the human body)

Please help, I have no idea what’s wrong with me!?
Ok, so if you’ve already seen this question I’m sorry. I reposted it in another section hoping to get more answers.

Okay, so for about a year now I’ve been having all of these symptoms and I have no idea what’s wrong with me :( I often feel really weak and nauseous (not sure if I spelled that right) I have fainting spells and I pass out and then can’t recall what happened. I’ll also collapse from being weak. I get incredibly dizzy and light headed when this happens and need to sit down. Often opon sitting down I’ll fall over aswell. I’m not sure if any of these things are related but I thought I’d put them in anyways: Sometimes i’ll get terrible stomach pains that, as the best I can describe them, feel like someone is stabbing me, from inside? They’re very sharp pains all throughout my abdomin. None of these things happen at a specific time, just out of no wheres honestly. I started writing down things I ate, what time I ate, things I did to see if I could see anything in common but found nothing. My body is often very achy, like my shoulders or my knees, arms or ankles will just throb! I’ve been to the doctor so many times and had tests done for Blood Glucose, Iron levels, Thyroid and other things I can’t really remember but everything came back normal. The doctors just can’t figure out what could be wrong with me and it’s really interfering with my life :(

So my question is: Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and what I should get tested for? I really want to know what’s wrong with me. If you want me to add any details please ask, I would greatly appreciate any help.

    I’m 14 and female

Oh and if this helps at all, Lupus, Diabetes, and Crohns runs in my family. I totally spelt those wrong lol..

For those of you who are opposed to nationalized healthcare?
Some of the comments sound like people think that anyone without healthcare coverage simply is not willing to pay for it.

However, what about families who cannot find full time jobs and have to work 2-3 part time jobs to support their families in high unemployment areas

What about employees who work for temp agencies and cannot get health insurance, or the coverage available will pay out no more than what you pay in premiums (or even less).

What about those families who must remain at home to care for family members requiring around the clock care.

What about low income families who make too much money to qualify for Medicaid, yet they are still barely above the federal poverty guidelines?

What about those who are unemployed and cannot afford the COBRA premiums (even with the stimulus plan), or worse yet, cannot qualify for COBRA.

What about those people who have health conditions that prevent them from working full time.

What about those people who require medications in order to function on a job (issues such as chronic depression, bipolar disorder, diabetes, lupus, MS) or cannot handle any type of a full time job due to medical or mental issues?

Do you sincerely feel that all of these people should just continue to go without treatment. Do you also realize that unpaid medical expenses are causing problems for medical practitioners in maintaining practices.

Do I understand that you don’t care?

    What causes multiple organ failure?
This started two years ago when I had encephalitis. I lost ability to count, spell, walk, talk, etc. After the inflammation went down I have since been left with fasiculations, brain fog, bowel issues, urinary issues. Soon gallbladder died and was removed due to doubling over in pain. HIDA scan showed 0% ejection faction. then blood pressure started to slowly drop until it is currently 80/40. Went to hospital…. low cortisol… they didn’t test my ATCH so I don’t know if I have Addison’s Disease or Cushings or what. I know that the hypothalamus talks to the pituitary that communicates with the adrenal glands which produce cortisol. I have Erectile Dysfunction, Brain fog, testicular pain, and have been also diagnosed with Chronic fatigue Syndrome by positive EBV profile tests. It seems like my organs are and have been progressively growing towards failure. I also have clear urine which is a sign of the simplest form of diabetes but yet to be tested for that. All valves of heart have either slight or mild regurgitation. WHAT IS POSSIBLY CAUSING MULTIPLE ORGAN FAILURE OVER A PERIOD OF THE LAST TWO YEARS? Can a blood disorder do it? I have been to urologists, neurologists, Infectious Disease Doctors, Rheumotologists to test for Auto-Immune and still nothing. Can a Hormonal imbalance start killing off all of your organs? I did some reading and it talks about how there are connections to all of these symptoms but no definite relation to all of the symptoms except that hormones control quite a bit. So far they have me on Florinef so my Blood Pressure stays up until endocronologist can run all his tests. But what if his test show problems due to a larger problem? What causes the body to start failing everywhere and on every test? High Esonophils, increased # of small lymphocytes in CSF fluid but no MS, no lupus, no STD’s. PLEASE HELP before I’m dead. Give me ideas, anything to throw a doctors way. Thankyou in advance.

My mother has been experiencing chronic pelvic pain for over two years….?
She’s been to numerous doctors, checked for numerous medical conditions (kidneys, gall bladder, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Gynecological exams, etc.) and has tested negative in all cases. She has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and has two crushed discs in her spine. It has been the consensus of her doctors that the spinal problems are not causing the pelvic pain. She also has been diagnosed with a fibroid on her uterus that causing her to menstruate every two weeks. However, she has been told by two separate doctors that the fibroid is too small to be causing the level of pain she is experiencing. One doctor suggested surgery to repair the discs in her spine might relieve the pelvic pain as well as the pain she has in her arms and legs but he could not say for certain. The cortisone injections she received in spine at the base of the neck did help to relieve to arm/leg pain (for three weeks) but the injection to the spine in the lower back provided no relief for the pelvic pain. This gives her little hope that surgery to the lower spine would help.
I did a little research of my own online out of curiosity. I discovered that chronic pelvic pain without an apparent medical cause can be the result of past sexual abuse. Sometimes chronic pelvic pain is psychosomatic. In 50% of women with chronic pelvic pain a history of childhood sexual abuse can be identified. These women are often referred to many different specialists and, in the process, they may be subjected to expensive tests and exploratory surgery only to be told that ‘nothing is wrong’ because no underlying pathology (medical cause) was discovered or identified.
I strongly believe my mother may be one of these women. When my mother was younger she was sexually abused by her father. I’m not certain exactly how old she was or how long the abuse lasted but I know that it did. My father told me about it immediately after they separated and after about a case of beer. Later my aunt accidentally confirmed it.
The problem is my mom doesn’t know I know. But I think she should seek psychological counseling as the abuse it likely related to the chronic pelvic pain. Perhaps if she came to terms with her psychological and emotional pain she would experience relief from the physical pain. I don’t know how to approach with the information. I don’t want to upset her further but I hate see her suffer with no answers. Does anyone have any advice on how to approach her? I don’t want to push her away. She is a very private person. Very emotionally distant.

What should I do about this?? :C?
Well this is going to be a really long post, I’m so sorry >.< Well as of 5 years ago, I live with my mom and sister. We've moved twice. We live with my moms friends, 'cause my mom can't really afford a house being a single mom who didn't get to high school (which I completely understand) Well she wants to move in with her boyfriend in July, and so it was planned out that me and my sister were to move with my dad. I asked if I could go with her because I'm not sure if my dad would quit his drugs when/if we moved in, and she said that she wouldn't let me because her new boyfriend doesn't like kids. I just settled on moving in with my dad, because I didn't want to start another argument. But In January of this year, my dad was hospitalized and in ICU for extremely severe pneumonia. He had a lot of surgery, and was very very sick. He moved hospitals a couple of times, and for the first week in the hospital, we (me and my sister) were really scared he wasn't going to make it. Even before that, my dad has a LOT of medical problems. I can't name them all, but I know he told me about the two forms of lupus, the diabetes, and he doesn't have much feeling in one of his legs. My mom said she didn't care he was in the hospital! She's heartless... she said that she was moving out in July regardless of were we had to go and how my dad was doing. That was January, and he came home two weeks ago. He wasn't really ready to come home, but insurance wouldn't cover any longer of a stay. My mom dropped us off at my uncles house were he lives and we (only me and my sister) stayed there the weekend to help him out (he lives 3 and a half hours away btw) when I saw the place we would be living, I got a pretty big shock. I'm just sick of living out of a basement like we are now... it's embarrassing to have friends over and I don't want to move into another one. My moms boyfriend has a house, it's a really nice place and I'd have my own room and everything, but its not the best school or neighborhood. anyways, I talked to my mom and she said that she would let me move in with them (which is what I want to do) but my mom gets a check from the govt. for me and my sister each month that my dad was supposed to live off of, and If I don't move in with him he doesn't get it. Him and my sister NEED that check to live, but I really don't think I can live with them. Besides that, my dad called me yesterday and told me how excited he was to have me and my sister living with him (Hes a good dad when hes not poping pills or smoking pot) and I felt a huge wave of guilt and couldn't tell him that I didn't want to move in with him... ugh. THis whole thing is a mess. I'm really sorry for the soap opera, but I just have no idea what to do. I'm going into highschool next year, so thats anotherweight on my shoulders. Should I suck it up and move with them in a dirty little basement? or should I grow a pair and tell him I don't want to move with him?

I'm also super sorry if this is the wrong category >.< My sister and my mom don’t get along well, so my sister refuses to move in with her.
She (my sister) says I HAVE to move n with my dad. I know what I want to do, and thats move in with my mom. :(

Why Do I feel Like This?
O.K So for about 4 years I have been feeling over all unwell I ahve these episodes where I get headaches everyday allday for weeks to months at a time. Also during these times I get fatigue, brain fog and feel tired and have some stomach issues and sometimes panic/anxiety attacks.I have to admit that I am a bit of a hypocondriac so I go to the Doc and ER atleast once a month when this stuff happens.I started to get sick like this after I got the Gardasil shots but no doctor wants to believe the shot ruined my life but then again they can not find a cause for me to feel like crap.I have a 6 year old daughter that needs me to be well so I can take card of her proper and I have a great relationship that I feel like im losing because of how I feel everyday I cant live like this any more and dont know what to do so before u say get tested for this and that I will tell you what I been tested for……

You are not going to get a diagnosis in Yahoo Answers. You are not going to increase your chances of getting a diagnosis here by continuing to repost the same question.

I have Raynaud’s Syndrom and have been tested for Auto Immune Disease?
I am a female, 40 years old, two kids 17 & 15, fairly healthy, smoke a little, drink wine a little… I get a lot of physical activity and eat very well… I am not considered overweight (could stand to lose maybe 8 pounds) and only my mom has health issues (diabetes, weight issues, athsma, etc.)

Recently, my doctor orderd a rather large blood sample to test me for Auto Immune Disease because my hands and toes turn white when cold. His nurse called me and told me the results came back negative but in reading about Lupus and talking with a gal at work who’s husband died of complications caused by Lupus, I am worried that maybe I could still have it. My question, is there a way that the blood test didn’t catch it or is there something else that could be causing this syndrom? Other symptoms… dizziness, slight fatigue, on-going dull headache towards the front of the head, blured vision, hearing issues in the right ear.

What would cause a sudden sunken appearance under the eyes?
I’ve been sick for years with no diagnoses.
I have severe fatigue, but I sleep 10+ hours a night.
    I eat well.
I don’t smoke, drink or do any type of drugs.

I also get lightheaded, short of breath, poor healing wounds, pain behind eyes..

I’ve been checked for Diabetes, Thyroid issues, Lupus, Liver problems, Celiac..

If my liver blood work comes back normal does that rule out Hepatitis?
My doctor told me to do research and make a list of what it could be and I found:

Lyme disease, Candida infection, and Adrenal issues
but for some reason he didn’t test and was sure I didn’t have any of them…

I never drink water….could dehyration be causing all of this?

I don’t think my doctors take me seriously because I cover my horrible looking under eye circles with makeup….if they seen how I look they’d be shocked…

I look like sickly….can someone please help me figure this out?!
